Inspired by high-altitude purity and generational rituals, URK blends raw, whole ingredients like wild apricot - "Chulli", Kagzi badam, Kinnauri akhrot, Black Sesame- “Kala til”, ratanjot, ashwagandha and other wild herbs into deeply nourishing oil formulations.
The brand goes beyond hair care, reviving the emotional ritual of oiling as a moment of connection, care, and restoration. With a focus on purity, texture, and authenticity, URK embodies the quiet luxury of nature, where every drop carries the wisdom of the mountains and the warmth of hands passed through generations.
Founder Story

Sapna Verma, founder of URK Ayurveda, is a postgraduate in design and an artist at heart, deeply influenced by nature and its quiet rhythms. With a natural affinity toward the mountains, her approach to care has always been rooted in simplicity, intuition, and balance.
URK took shape during a deeply personal phase of her life, post pregnancy, when she found herself returning to slow, nurturing rituals for restoration. In this time, it was the warmth and wisdom of her grandmother that became her anchor - gently restoring her confidence through traditional pahadi oils and rituals that had been passed down over generations.
What felt like fading beauty and disconnect slowly transformed into a renewed sense of self through touch, time, and care. What began as a personal journey evolved into a larger purpose: to preserve these rituals and reintroduce them in a way that feels relevant yet rooted. Through URK, Sapna brings together her design sensibility, love for nature, and belief in mindful living to create a brand that is as much about healing as it is about connection.
